2. Engagements
Each engagement is defined by a written contract or proposal that specifies scope, deliverables, timeline, and price. Work does not begin without written confirmation from the client. Any changes to the agreed scope require a written amendment signed by both parties.
3. Confidentiality
All information provided by the client during engagements — including system configurations, vulnerabilities, business processes, and security posture — is treated as strictly confidential. We do not disclose client information to third parties without explicit written consent, except where required by applicable law.
Specific confidentiality obligations for each engagement are detailed in the applicable Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or contract.
4. Intellectual property
Reports, documentation, policies, and other deliverables created specifically for the client become client property upon full payment of the applicable invoice. ClearSecurity Vision's proprietary methodologies, frameworks, tools, and templates remain the intellectual property of ClearSecurity Vision and are licensed — not transferred — for use in connection with the applicable engagement.
5. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the total fees paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of revenue, business interruption, or any consequential losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Penetration testing and offensive security services are conducted strictly within the agreed scope and with documented authorization. ClearSecurity Vision assumes no liability for damages resulting from unauthorized scope expansion by the client or third parties.
6. Payments
Invoices are issued in accordance with the contractual agreement. The standard payment term is 15 days from the invoice issue date, unless otherwise specified in the contract. Late payments may incur contractual penalties as specified in the engagement contract.
7. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information necessary for the delivery of services
- Obtaining all necessary internal authorizations before the commencement of security assessments or penetration tests
- Designating a primary point of contact for the duration of each engagement
- Implementing remediation recommendations within a reasonable timeframe
